Born Jan. 31, 1938 in Chicago Passed away on June 20, 2015 at home after a long illness.
Fred retired as a manager from AT&T after 38 years. He served our country in the Air Force. He volunteered for many years for several organizations including Faith in Action; English as a Second Language and the GED programs at McHenry and Harper Community Colleges. He was very active in many committees and functions at St. Raymond Church for 29 years and also volunteered at many inter-city churches. He was an avid runner who completed 14 marathons. He enjoyed lending a helping hand to others. Fred’s happiest times were spent with family and friends.
Memorial Visitation Sunday 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Hwy. Mt. Prospect. Memorial gathering Monday 10:00 AM until Mass 11:00 AM at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt. 83) and Lincoln St. Mt. Prospect.
